IT and computer jobs in New Zealand : Immigration to New Zealand

How do I gain a visa or work permit?

Visa/Work permit regulations are a little complicated and you need to be aware of the rules administered by the Immigration Department. Sabre Systems certainly assists to make life easier and our Resource Managers can guide you through this process.

There has been a major change in regulations which reduces the educational requirements for IT professionals to gain Permanent Residence. A copy of the regulations effecting this follows.

We recommend, if at all possible, you gain a work permit whilst still offshore. This means you will need a job offer, either from a NZ employer when the position is permanent or from the agency when the position is a contract and 2 written job references. But the marketing rules are still the same - if you are in the New Zealand market and available to be interviewed by the client then you enhance your chances of a job.

What do I do next?

You need to register and tell us what type of job you are interested in or apply for a job vacancy. Please send your Curriculum Vitae to us through our registration page or e-mail separately (refer Contact Us). We will acknowledge your interest with additional information on New Zealand and the opportunities available.  We welcome the opportunity to work with you through Sabre Systems Limited.
